Our recent blog posts

  • How many people are in the group tour?
Our groups range from 15 - 25 people.
  • What time does the tour finish on the last day?
Our tour finishes between 4pm and 5pm which gives you plenty of time to eat, shower and relax before taking the bus.
  • What type of accommodation do you offer?
Included in our tour package is dorm style accommodation in homestays. The beds are very comfortable however if you would like to upgrade to a private room we can arrange that for you for an extra cost.
  • Should I do 3 days or 4 days?
To fully immerse yourself in the culture of Northern Vietnam, we would recommend you to do the 4 day 3 night tour. By choosing this option, you get to explore more areas of Northern Vietnam and you also visit a waterfall on the last day. The 3 day 2 night tour is still amazing and it's perfect for those who are on a time crunch!
  • Should I bring a towel?
Towels are provided every night in the homestay so a towel is not necessary. However, if you choose the 4 day tour, you can swim in a waterfall on the last day so you should bring your own towel!
  • When is the best time to do the loop?
High season is from March till mid - May and mid - September till mid - November however there is no best season for a motorbike ride. Each season has its own advantages and disadvantages, as well as local festivals. The weather in the mountains is very changeable and it can rain on any day and the views can shift very quickly. June to mid - August is considered the rainy season in Northern Vietnam however, during this time the rain is usually short lived and usually occurs in the late afternoon or night time. From the end of November to early March, the weather is usually a little colder so you'll need to pack warm clothes.
  • What is included in the price?
A local guide, bus tickets, semi -automatic 10cc bike with gasoline, insurance of the bike, food, accommodation, ticket for sightseeing, support with your bike.
  • If I want to self ride, can I have my friend/partner on the back?
Yes, you can but we don't recommend this option due to the road conditions and to minimize the risk of injuries.
  • Do many solo travelers join your tour?
Yes! Most of our guests are solo travelers and our small group tours make it very easy for people to make friends.
  • What transfers do you offer after the Ha Giang Loop?
We have buses to: Hanoi airport, Hanoi Old Quarter, Sapa, Ninh Bình, Ha Long, Cao Bang and Cat Ba.
  • Do I need an international drivers license?
For self-riders, please bring your international driving license for motorbike (if you have it) We can’t guarantee 100% safety with police situation but we try our best to help you so please bring with you any license you have from back home just in case.
